PPC Staff

David Rea, Pastor

Prior to church planting in Dallas, David served as an RUF (Reformed University Fellowship) Campus Minister at Southern Methodist University for seven years. David hails from Charlotte, North Carolina and received his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary (Charlotte). He and his wife Stefani have three precious children, Virginia (8), Cole (7), and Jack (3). When he’s not working on his sermons, you might find David on the tennis court, the golf course, or playing “thesis on the table” with Dr. Bob Cara. In another life, David might have been the next Andre Agassi.

Carlton Wynne, Assistant Pastor

Carlton, a native Houstonian, joined the pastoral staff at PPC after a three year stay in Charlotte, NC, where he earned his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. By God’s providence, Carlton had previously worked with RUF at SMU under David Rea and is thankful to be back in Dallas again. Carlton’s wife, Linley, has spent her energy teaching middle school and coaching soccer, and now directs much of it towards caring for their son, Robert. Alongside his work at PPC, Carlton enjoys reading about theology, playing basketball or tennis, and long walks on the bea…and reading about theology.

Alyson Averitt, Women’s Ministry Coordinator

Alyson and her husband Graham have recently moved back home to Dallas after spending a few years in the beautiful city of Charlotte, North Carolina. While in Charlotte, Alyson earned her Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary, while Graham graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from UNC Charlotte. When she is not working diligently at the PPC offices, Alyson enjoys cooking, reading, and running up her cell phone bill.

Kristi Breed, Church Administrator

Kristi joined the PPC staff after four years working in Real Estate. She and her husband, Michael, met while attending RUF at SMU. Kristi grew up in Memphis, but all of her family now lives in Texas. She enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends. If Kristi wasn’t working at PPC, she would either be a weather woman or a stagehand for Celine Dion.

Daniel Killian, Pastoral Intern

Daniel hails from Fort Payne, Alabama and though he loves Dallas, he misses the rivers and canyons of his north Alabama home. He is both an alumni and huge fan of Auburn University where he met his beautiful wife Taylor. Taylor is a native Texan from Houston and went to UT for two years before transferring to Auburn. The cute little red-head in the picture is Lainey, their 2 year old daughter. Daniel is currently pursuing His Masters of Divinity at Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas. When he is not studying for classes and working at PPC, you might find him playing ultimate frisbee, watching college football, or applying to CTU to work with Jack Bauer.
